该片背景设定在80年代和90年代，将讲述1983年由里卡尔多·斯奇奇和伊洛娜·斯达勒创立的情色电影制作公司“未来天后”(Diva Futura)的故事。。本作曾在单行本第6卷限定版中同梱过一次OAD，这次已经是第2次动画化了。制作阵容有所改变，由《STRANGE+》的西川贵史担任监督，Softgarage协助制作。不过声优阵容与前作一样，依然是反田省太由内匠靖明出演，春风このみ由野村真悠华出演，神谷真夏由平井祥惠出演，佐佐木奈子由井之上奈奈出演，金子理央由新名彩乃出演，池端サヨ由佐藤奏美出演。。Genre cinema lends itself to fruitful experimentation and Vourdalak is a prime example, offering ample opportunities for it along with dark, profound chills and a delightful Gothic atmosphere.
