本剧改编自实际发生的著名杀人事件，讲述了断言“不谈浮躁的恋爱”的大仪见，自信满满地说“恋爱经验丰富”的梦川，对恋爱的立场完全相反的两个人时而碰撞时而烦恼，然后痛快地逼近犯人。。故事讲述私家侦探哈柏应聘至纽奥尔良一大地主家庭调查一封告密信，由于牵涉入大地主与石油大王之间的斗争中，几乎因而丧命。该片拍来有点造作，但节奏仍算流畅爽朗，其中哈柏与石油大王之妻被关在水室而几乎没顶的高潮戏拍得相当紧凑刺激。。The series follows two colleagues from vastly different backgrounds who initially despise each other. He is a privileged “nepo baby,” while she is a determined worker who has earned everything through her efforts. Their competitive spirit leads to unexpected sparks and, eventually, deeper affection.。
