冷酷英俊的M国特工陈凯伦在一次秘密行动当中，与勤工俭学的大学生李梦璃在画摊偶然相识，陈凯伦原本想借画摊作为掩护等待嫌疑人落网，但因为小事两人产生了矛，导致嫌疑人逃跑。原以为任务就此失败，陈凯伦却在李梦璃的画作上发现了嫌疑人的身影。到了第二天，陈凯伦来到李梦璃所在的大学校园，这里鸟语花香，绿树成荫。一番搜寻后，陈凯伦终于找到了李梦璃，本想寻求她的帮助，但两人有身份认知的问题：陈凯伦不能暴露身份，李梦璃怀疑他是不法分子，两人结伴追凶，但彼此的误会越来越大。而随着嫌疑人的身份越来越清晰，李梦璃竟然发现他是自己的恩人……。Paul Slippery (Hugh Laurie), a forty-something doctor, lives with his wife Estelle and three sex-obsessed sons Rory, Daniel and Edwin in the west London suburb of Putney.
