几名意大利裔美国记者在罗马尼亚的工作任务中失踪。。被临时调入检察厅刑事法制团的黄始木（曹承佑饰），与借调至警察厅搜查革新团的韩汝真（裴斗娜饰）因为溺水案重新有了交集。接下去，警检双方因为长期以来的权力不平等而要求的谈判即将开始。警方想获得从前紧紧攥在检察厅手里的调查权，彻底改变检方与警方的上下级关系，形成互相制衡的新生态。黄始木和韩汝真各自的上级禹太夏（崔武成饰）和崔晖（全慧珍饰），他们将代表各自的组织利益进行警检会谈。但情况不会那么简单，彼此掌握对方黑料，又都擅长利用舆论的两方会让这场权力的让渡之战变得复杂。。Andrew Dominik’s career has been crossing paths with Nick Cave’s since 2000’s Chopper, which was scored by original Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey. Seven years later, Cave wrote the music for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, assisted by another bandmate, Warren Ellis.
